I have pressed myself;
Shoulderblades and footbones
Levered between a rock
And a hard place.
Like a canary in a coal mine,
I have sensed the closing in,
Felt the pressure,
And flown away with a flash
Of yellow wings.

brand new to your blog. and i'm in awe. an immediate feeling of peace washes over me through your posts. i felt an instant connection with nature. and a desire to bust out my tent and tuck in for a night under the stars. will be reading from now on.

and this video!!! you had me at the first notes of "old pine". mr.howard is a serious favorite of mine. look up his whole album (every kingdom)-- and snag the song "follaton wood" off his EP. great stuff.

Old Pine! One of the best songs in the universe. The video was beautiful with it. question though - who took the video footage?

Thanks for the video love. I actually filmed it & used final cut for the editing :)
As for Mr. Ben Howard, I am digging his stuff. My friend Emily introduced me to him & I'm super thankful she did.
