barefoot farmer

On Saturday we got to go learn from the Barefoot Farmer, Jeff Poppen!
If you know me, you know I love all things gardening.
Not only did Jeff feed my science brain by talking about chemistry & biology
but he emphasized the importance of organic gardening,
something that's been a conviction of mine for the past 6 years.
I was reminded of the importance of calcium in my soil
& educated on how vital fungi & bacteria are in the life of a plant.
The earth is amazing!!!
Thank you Foxhollow Farm for hosting this baller
event & Jeff you're simply incredible.

Molly, I'm so glad you are in our life! Thank you for being a source of inspiration and also for spurring my little on to greater things! So happy to learn more about gardens together!

Jeff is our neighbor, and truly one of the most intelligent, inspiring people I know. We were sad to have to miss the Foxhollow event - but so glad you got to meet him!

Let's grow cukes, black cherry toms, pumpkins, moon and stars watermelon, lavender, and corn together. More than bare feet and walks turned porch conversations past sunset.
